The first 4 chapters of this course introduce some concepts that are very important for later courses.  The 4 topics are:

• data presentation
• ratios and rate
• pythagorean relationship
• percents

There is also a unit project that spans all 4 chapters: The Restaurant Project.

At the end of this unit, there will also be a cumulative test that covers all 4 chapters.
